My name is Charles Bailey and for those of you who don’t know me, I am a US Army Infantry Veteran, Retired Franklin Firefighter/Paramedic, Educator and Hockey Coach. I am also the proud father of two amazing young adults.I chose to run for State Rep due to the threat of a one-party rule with so many democrats running unopposed. All my past experiences have prepared me for this opportunity, and I welcome the challenges that lie ahead if elected.Utilizing all our fuel sources to become energy independent is important. I believe we should consider all that is available including solar and wind. However, my opponents share the same vision as our national leadership in that they want us to spend beyond what we can sustain to convert completely in an un-realistic time frame. This will cause further hardship for the people and their ability to heat their homes heading into the winter. If YOU elect me as your State Rep, I will help to ensure safe communities for Franklin & Medway with a focus on Public Health, Public Safety, Veteran’s Affairs, and the Elderly.I am Charles Bailey, and I am of the people for the people, not above. I have spent a lifetime serving my country, community, and family. I have been in many of your homes and cared for your loved ones in their time of need. I care about the things that you care about and not furthering anyone else’s political agenda. I am committed to representing YOU on Beacon Hill for two years, not my own political aspirations. Can my opponents commit to the same?I am asking for your VOTE so that I can represent YOU on Beacon Hill…thank youCharles Bailey
I WAS BORN IN walpole massachusetts...
and attended Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School in Franklin. I enlisted in the military after graduating and served for over six years on active duty in the U.S. Army Infantry. My wife Annamaria and I were married in 1990 and eventually transitioned back into civilian life. In 1993 we bought our first home in Franklin and started our family. I became an EMT in 1994, a Paramedic in 1996 and entered the Fire Service in 1999. I proudly served the community of Franklin as a Firefighter/Paramedic for twenty years. Anna and I raised our two children, Daniel, and Brianna in Franklin, and they were both educated in the Franklin school system. Dan graduated from Franklin High School in 2013, attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and then Drexel University for graduate school. He now works as a Systems Safety Engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems. Brianna graduated from Franklin High School in 2015, went to Emmanuel College and then Boston University where she earned her Master’s in the Medical Sciences. She’s currently attending Touro University in NYC and is studying to become a Doctor of Pharmacology.

I served as Local 2637's Union President at the Franklin Fire Department for three years, coached with the Franklin youth hockey program, and later coached the Clark University hockey team for three seasons. I completed my BA in Psychology at Dean College in Franklin and began teaching high school special education after retiring from the FFD. When the pandemic struck, I returned to the field to work as a Mobile Integrated Health Paramedic by treating patients in the comfort & safety of their own homes.
